The BVI was devastated by Irma. It’s impossible to quantify the human suffering and material damage. As a tourist destination it will take time to recover the fabric, natural beauty and infrastructure but maybe worse is the perception that its not worth visiting for a while. The vegetation will recover, the charter fleets will be replaced and restaurants will rise up again. The BVI will be back sooner than you think! #OneBVI
We were very lucky with the fabric of our building – read our blog post.
Situated in the middle of Trellis Bay, a popular overnight stop for yachts and a busy ferry hub to the outer islands, we are also close to the airport so you can relax with a drink after you have checked your bags in or watch the planes land if you are meeting a flight. See map.
We have a shaded deck, comfy sofas, hammocks, picnic tables on the beach and free wifi.
Join us for the monthly Full Moon Party when the bay comes alive with spectacular fire sculptures – see the Full Moon page for 2017 & 2018 dates.
We can also host beach parties, regatta dinners and family celebrations with live music, moko jumbies (brightly coloured stilt walkers) with a buffet, bbq or sit-down dinner.
Jeremy’s Kitchen occupies the original Boardsailing BVI windsurf school and workshop. Established by Jeremy Wright, the venue evolved into the Cybercafe and Trellis Kitchen.
In its new incarnation as Jeremy’s Kitchen we aim to honour his originality and be fantastic hosts to both locals and visitors alike.
